19:56 <Ed[m]> of course i may be overthinking the whole scenario and misinterpreting your question, in which case i apologise, and if that's the case then yes: sandstorm acts as the caldav server and your calendar clients can all see the same calendar, and all clients (if configured that way inside the sandstorm grain) can create new events and tasks and have those changes reflected back to all other clients

20:18 <TimMc> The experience I've had with Lightning (Thunderbird extension) and Google Calendar is that the events seem to live on Google and only get synced down; if I start my computer with no internet, I don't see the events. (I think. Or it happens under some other condition.)
