Hi all! Can anyone give me a hint, where to set the system time in sandstorm? I just changed the timezone of the underlying vm (ubuntu 20), and rebooted, but sandstorm apps (tried with sandcal) still keep the old timesettings. Is there something I could click, and just didn't see, or what do I have to do to get into the 'new' timezone?
<kentonv>
vertigo_38, there isn't any server-side timezone. Normally apps should query your browser for your local time.

kentonv, thank you. Could be, that I did things too quickly!

vertigo_38, it's entirely possible that some apps are buggy about this and are trying to read the system timezone, but inside the Sandstorm sandbox they won't be allowed to see it.
<kentonv>
if that's the case those apps will probably default to UTC or to the app packager's time zone (ugh)
<kentonv>
that would be a bug in the app, though, so will have to be reported against the particular apps

OK, I see RocketChat from the Appmarket giving me the expected time (UTC+1), but SandChat obviously displaying UTC, as you write. The 'sandcal' from above was a typo, sorry!
