Jiangyi: so as far as I understand, the kernel sources for the i9100g are in samsung_t1 witch is an old version of android-omap-tuna with the source drops on top, right?

jochensp: No, it's just the Samsung source drops with a few modifications on top to make it play nice with CM

Samsung based it on top of the 3.0.31 kernel from OMAPZoom, then pulled in a bunch of changes from mainline

Very different from the tuna kernel source, mainly because OMAPzoom's code is a quite a bit newer

What I do is diff the repo against Samsung's source drop, then check whether the changes is made in mainline

If it is, I pull that patch from mainline

This will basically reduce the changes down to only the Samsung-specific ones that they did to make it work on the i9100g
