probably off topic, but does anyone know of a good intro to BCH codes (for ECC) that doesn't immediately dive neck deep into all the Algebra and Calculus I forgot over the last 20 years?

dunno but I’ve always found the code-based cryptography (McEliece/Niederreiter) literature much more approachable than the actual coding theory version of the same concepts
