<firefrommoonligh> Didn't realize how cheap G4 lineup was. Agg mentioned that a while back on the F3 comparison; ie it's also a cheaper price point. This makes me want to look at it more for future projects. Seems like a good fit for things where you don't need low-power features (L/U), super performance (H7), super-low-price(G0), even if you don't need all the ADC/DAC/Timer channels etc associated with F3/G4
<firefrommoonligh> Unfortunately, Digikey and JLC show spotty stock
<firefrommoonligh> Seems like a good all-rounder
<agg> everything is spotty stock these days
<agg> but yea, they seem otherwise pretty nice
<firefrommoonligh> True
<therealprof[m]> Hm, who complained recently about too much diversification between STM32 lines?
<barafael[m]> I had quite a bit of fun with the g4. Good clock even without crystal and 5 independent ADCs and dual bank flash were a good match for our product. But, the errata bit me. For example, first ADC conversion after DMA stop event uses wrong channel. Or, the ST dual bank examples are broken because of their system bootloader
