mnemoc: you need _at least_ 1 power plane and 1 ground plane
<mnemoc>
slapin_nb: at least when tsvetan started with the A10 prototype a year ago he said he was working on 4 lyaers. no idea what he uses now
<mnemoc>
slapin_nb: I believe you. I don't know about that stuff. so I trust whatever someone trustable tells me
<slapin_nb>
mnemoc: you can have 2 signal layers with A13. A10 is heavy pin count BGA package with fine pitch... you either get many layers or you get into high precision class, the later is more expensive...

is going to look at Olimex's module board tonight then decide.
<mnemoc>
slapin_nb: BDD was making a A20 sodimm too
<slapin_nb>
it is easy enough to draw the board, then to make it you need to sell a few souls and sacrafice a few chicks...
<mnemoc>
a nice thing about BDD's module is that they include the AXP, the PHY and an i2c/eeprom
<mnemoc>
but no LiPo as with olimex's
<slapin_nb>
power is not a problem to be made on base board
<mnemoc>
getting the usb0/otg and protections inside the module they also saved a bunch of pins. so they can expose everything in the sodimm 200

AXP without lipo is stupid decision, as on many sticks. I am DAMN TIRED of soldering wires under QFN chip :((((((((((((((
<mnemoc>
poke them. i guess you can get an a20/2gb kit without much troubles

mnemoc, it
<hno>
mnemoc, yes, and it's easier to edit & maintain there than in mediawiki, mostly because there is not so many fancy things to get lost in I suppose.
