marcan, For what it is worth you can check out https://github.com/mindentropy/s3c2440-mdk for some Baremetal ARM code. It is developed for the Samsung S3C2440 SoC.
<marcan>
mindentropy: that is arm32. that is not useful.

<marcan>
j`ey: I think it's pretty much fine as-is, for now
<asmon[m]>
why can't i read past messages?
<j`ey>
marcan: sorry, that wasn't me judging the code quality :P
<yrlf>
@asmon[m]: there's a log of the asahi channels linked on asahilinux.org
<asmon[m]>
yrlf: some days not there

<Shiz>
did some more work on the devicetree stuff, currently writing the .dts output :)
<Shiz>
it's by no means perfect yet (prop-encoded-array types aren't decoded and the what-value-is-this heuristics are still a bit off), but it's a good start :)
<Shiz>
just realised i probably wanna substitute `device-tree` in the root node for `/` there :D
<Shiz>
you can now use `dump`, `to-adt`, `to-src` and `regs` to visualize FDTs and ADTs, convert to ADT, convert to DTS, and show calculated memory ranges for a node respectively

<jn__>
Shiz: i think the integer properties are missing <>
<jn__>
i.e. #address-cells = <0x2>;
<jn__>
anyway, nice work!
<Shiz>
ah yes, you can tell i've never actually written devicetrees :D
<Shiz>
thanks, I just pushed diff support
<Shiz>
the diff output format is suboptimal right now but the functionality is there
<modwizcode>
Shiz: did you write a device tree parser from scratch?
<Shiz>
yea
<Shiz>
jn__: pushed, sankyu
<Shiz>
note: there seems to be a bug in restruct preventing to-adt from working rn, will look at it after these messages
