<MrMobius>
a guy who used to come here and chat almost everyday
<the_cuckoo>
ah
<the_cuckoo>
hmm - seems the last time i was in here was 30 march, and he was posting back then
<the_cuckoo>
(not helpful i know - just saw his nick when i scrolled up)
<crc>
tp is mostly in #mecrisp now
<MrMobius>
crc, did he get offended and leave?
<crc>
I don't know
<crc>
From the logs, it appears he is mostly in #mecrisp to avoid bogging this channel down with low level hardware talk
<crc>
19.09.11:21:49:27 <tp> not many people here actually get into our level of hardware, so you can always pop over #mecrisp if you want to get into the bare metal
<crc>
The last time I show him in this channel was mid-june

crc, so retroforth has no while that may execute the body zero times?
<crc>
Not that I've defined
<cmtptr>
so what do you do: put the test at the beginning of the body and exit with FALSE early?

<crc>
Generally I'd probably wrap the while loop in an if that only runs the body if the run conditions are valid
<crc>
In practice, I've not really neede this so far; if/when my needs change I might add a new combinator for this
<cmtptr>
interesting
