i really want a glasgow, but can't justify the extra cost of a single-unit run compared to buying one when they're produced in bulk

electronic_eel: Yep, Got 9 PCBs from OSHPark for this batch. I'm hand assembling them so they're coming out as a trickle, 10 or so a month.
<gruetzkopf>
hmm
<gruetzkopf>
we'll have to talk once i get my "toy" budget back up (assuming es den isn't faster)
<gregdavill>
gruetzkopf: Sure! I'm still not 100% sure who these are going to, for now I'm leaving that to Whitequark to decide on, I don't have the capacity to produce a board for everyone on the waiting list.
<gregdavill>
I kind of want to try to get my OpenPnP machine a bit more functional now, in order to speed up the assembly. :P But that machine is a huge time/money sink :(
<gruetzkopf>
my slightly cursed revB (that was the one that caused the interconnect rewrite..) is working fine currently, so all is well ;)
<gruetzkopf>
(the level shifters are kind of annoying though)
<tnt>
remove them :p
<thaytan>
I want to see the LED cube in person
<thaytan>
gregdavill, do you go to LCA?
<gregdavill>
Is that in QLD next Jan? I could probably make that.
<thaytan>
that's the one
<gregdavill>
Is there a electronics/hardware aspect to that conference though? I know mithro wanted me to go to the last one in New Zealand, but I left it too late.

The Open Hardware Miniconf 1 day track has become a fixture
<esden>
the photo with my phone on my microscope is not great I know :/
<electronic_eel>
esden: the connector on your photo looks different from gregs one. Do you use the exact same samtec part as in the bom or a similar replacement?
