<reportingsjr> I was really impressed with the prices on lcsc for some things. I bought some Panasonic polymer caps that were about half the price vs digikey/mouser and the specs seem to be correct, so I don't think they are knock offs.

FaeFly is now known as FireFly
<ma1> the shortest on farnell (newark) is 30mm, which is exactly the amount of space I have, and at least by docs it should have 3mm of clearance
<ma1> lcsc's shortest is also 30mm
<ma1> top is against a shield around the transformer, and this is an audio amp... guess I may need to find a way to shove other things around and try to lay them on their sides

<kc8apf> does it need to be electrolytic?
<ma1> the ones I'm replacing were. is there anything else that would be a drop-in?

<kc8apf> 18x30mm seems to be the standard size for 4700uF@35Vdc
<kc8apf> Are you sure it's 4700uF? That's a really large value for the physical size
