JCaesar, is anyone working on a social media platform that would utilize ipfs/pubsub/ipld ? i am aware of "peergos" but so far haven't got it to work and it seems to be .. hm. fishy? claims to be decentralized but requires some core server to get your name and key, and docs talk of having to pay for it later or some such.

also, pubsub docs i saw were from 2017, has the issue of message deduplication been addressed? docs referred to this as "floodsub"

Sorry, I don't know that. (And I'm only aware of d-tube, which I also find to be sightly fishy.)
