Obviously you can push out the hosting of individual posts, but then you're still left with the centralized authentication mechanisms/etc.

but the filtering of who sees what, and who has control of posting where becomes more loose

so, for example, you could pass any posts you want to post through a set of moderators, who sign off on any posts

When `ipfs daemon` isn't running, nothing will be shared. When it's running and connected to other peers, your file might be shared when somebody requests the hash on another peer. I know very little about how IPFS works. But this is my current understanding.

specifically, the concern is whether the hash will be identifiable as an ipfs ash at the moment a miner decides to stick it in the blockchain. my argument is that the file will not be advertized in the DHT, and so the miner will not be able to censor it unless they censor all hashes.
