You can't use a vanilla web browser to access things on the IPFS because it doesn't speak the needed protocols. You can either access it via gateways, or using a browser that speaks those protocols. There is for example the "IPFS companion" browser extension that does that (https://github.com/ipfs-shipyard/ipfs-companion)
