<DrBunsen> Heya, I got a little issue. All of a sudden libreelec on pi 2 won't see my samba shares anymore. I checked on other devices, the shares are accessible. Does any have any experience with something like this?

<mack-> DrBunsen: kodi can't Browse smbv2+ samba shares, if that's what you're trying to do. You have to enter the path.
<mack-> dunno if that's been improved in Leia or not, but current version cannot.

<mack-> "all of a sudden" I'm guessing your samba server turned off insecure smbv1
<DrBunsen> mack-: It worked until I rebooted the pi, I even reflashed to be sure. Nothing changed on the host. I was watching something, had some sound glitches(tv pi comb) and after the reboot nothing.

<mack-> DrBunsen: if your server changed, the pi wouldn't reflect the change until it reconnected/rebooted. If your server is a Windows machine, it changed.
<mack-> if typing the path for the share works, then problem solved. You never mentioned you tried it or mentioned any other troubleshooting you've done.
