So this is interesting. After updating to 9.0.1, if I try to play something with ASS subtitles it hangs on the loading animation forever and produces this little gem ERROR: CWinSystemX11::XErrorHandler: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter), type:0, serial:36, error_code:3, request_code:4 minor_code:0

and even better, it only produces that message if I have refresh rate adjustment on. Otherwise it just silently hangs
