orzel: no idea what's going on, but make a backup, export it off-box, then download the 9.2.2 .tar or .img.gz file (ether is fine) to /storage/.update and reboot
<chewitt>
it makes no difference whether you update that way or via the GUI

hello, I'd like to monitor my Librelec with Prometheus node_exporter, has anyone done that already?
<deurk>
ok, different question then, does librelec support services installed manually? or will anything be written off by the next update?
<deurk>
s/librelec/LibreELEC/g
<oblikoamorale>
1. I'm not aware of any (what is there to monitor really?) 2. changes saved to ~/storage are persistent
<oblikoamorale>

chewitt: so you confirm an update should have been done..
<orzel>
i'll do that. but i'm fearing the problem wont go. i dont mind doing a cli update once, but if updates are broken... :-(
<chewitt>
orzel: auto will only update within the same release, so 9.0.2 is the final release and 9.2.x is a different series
<chewitt>
this explains why it has not updated automagically to 9.2.2
<chewitt>
but you should still be able to disable auto (switch to manual) and then select the 9.2 series and then select 9.2.2
<chewitt>
i've no idea why that wouldn't work, but if it doesn't .. wget from the console will force it
