<oblikoamorale> i've been fiddling around with custom edid on latest generic stable, and noticed the 'drm_kms_firmware.edid_firmware is deprecated, please use drm.edid_firmware intead.' perhaps https://wiki.libreelec.tv/custom_edid#tab__intel needs a little update

<rdo> chewitt: is that architecture specific (i.e. imx6 in my case) or a general issue? I reported it here: https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread/21272-master-does-not-build-for-imx6/?postID=136495#post136495

<chewitt> rdo: probably specific to the iMX6 image because I didn't build it when working on WireGuard support
<chewitt> basically.. I'm not expecting anyone to be using it :)

<rdo> The image also boots on a cubox-i/imx6, basic stuff is working, I cannot install plugins for some reason and I also did not manage to go through the setup which makes ssh not working
<rdo> I managed to copy photographs and videos from a smartphone on the device. The photographs were display correctly, the video made it potentially crashing (no video signal anymore was reported by the TV)

<chewitt> if the image wasn't building it's likely the add-ons haven't been built for a while or since we bumped stuff .. so there are probably no add-ons on the server

<rdo> In the kodi log I see certificate error messages: http://scw.bokomoko.de/~rd/LibreElec/kodi.log
<rdo> from a browser the URL resolves

shibboleth has quit [Quit: shibboleth]
<chewitt> SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: certificate is not yet valid
<chewitt> this is usually caused by ntp not working
<chewitt> so system dateTime is from libc release date, and this is earlier than the start date for the cert
<rdo> aah...I could have seen that myself, let me try to fix this.
<rdo> The dateTime issue is also more complex than NTP, I think:
<rdo> date returns Sat Mar 21 17:35:23 UTC 2020
<rdo> which seems to be ok.
<rdo> Even in the kodi.log the date is correct: http://ix.io/2eSw
<rdo> What I notice though is that at the UI always 12:00AM is displayed. Weird is that it is not even updated. I.e. it seems kodi has to dateTime objects which are not sync'd (?)
