hi, for some reason booting my pi4 raondomly takes a really long time to boot. and sometimes it boots to the weather screen and my cdc remote does not work. any ideas what I can do to troubleshoot the boot process
<JyZyXEL>
my rpi4 just flashes the libreelec logo and then my screen goes No Signal

JyZyXEL: try to edit config.txt and set some fallback mode perhaps resolution of your screen is incorrectly detected?

Gh0sty: *shrug* yeah, it's a 2019 4k screen
<JyZyXEL>
Gh0sty: tvservice -s gives me "state 0xa [HDMI CUSTOM RGB lim 16:9], 3840x2160 @ 30.00Hz, progressive"
<Gh0sty>
can pi4 even handle 4k? *unsure*

i guess it must've been initially working in Full HD mode and then i've done something to try make it 4k and that's why its not working anymore :P
<JyZyXEL>
like it was working a week ago just fine *grr* :D
<Gh0sty>
in cli edit: /boot/config.txt there should be already something in there about fallback I think
<Gh0sty>
maybe kodi might start in that mode too and then you can reconfigure it?
<Gh0sty>
(just an idea, no guarantees this will work)
<JyZyXEL>
Gh0sty: there is no /boot/
<Gh0sty>
maybe first run mount /boot/
<JyZyXEL>
there is no such entry in the fstab
<Gh0sty>
hmm

does libreelec contain fdisk? otherwise fdisk -l should show partitions :P
