<Simon1978> Hi guys, i got problems with my odroid c2 and latest mainline kernel. Im stuck at 650Mbits/150Mbits (dont know which is tx and rx) when testing with iperf2 in duplex. Are there any issues known or can anyone repeat tests ?

<narmstrong> Simon1978: can you be more specific about the kernel version
<narmstrong> Simon1978: and if you built it yourself or got from a distrib
<narmstrong> We effectively have a regression since 4.14 and we are unable to find the root cause

<Simon1978> @narmstrong im using 5.0.rc7 and i build it myself ( im using self build kernels on my odroid c2 for a LOOONG time). i made a test back to 4.14.29 where the performance was "ok"
<narmstrong> Simon1978: is it pure vanilla or patched ?
<Simon1978> vanilla
<Simon1978> usually i was getting 900MBits in one direction and around 600 or 700 which duplex in BOTH directions ... but this changed recently
<Simon1978> now its around 700MBits in one and 150MBits in the other when doing duplex tests
<narmstrong> Simon1978: can you revert the odroic2 part of 8b3e6f8999f8d704fccce225b9455b3fa639d1c9 ?
<narmstrong> And full revert
<narmstrong> I think removal of eee-broken was a mistake

<Simon1978> do you mean the irq trigger type or the EEE stuff ? i disabled EEE in the dtb for testing but the results didnt change
<Simon1978> the only difference after disable of EEE was that i dont get these "irq in LPI" counts anymore but performance was still bad

<Simon1978> why is the problem mostly appearing in duplex ? is this happening for all stmmac users or only certain ?
