<odalg> Hi - I am booting up Fedora Rawhide on a Khadas VIM3 Pro
<odalg> It boots if I supply 'clk_ignore_unused' as kernel parameter it boots all the way up - is there a better fix?
<odalg> sdcard io seems slow
<odalg> kernel 5.5rc5, can not find any of my nvme ssd's

<xdarklight> odalg: can you please try with the patch that narmstrong sent here: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-amlogic/1a98c5f0-de8a-53bc-cfb7-c9b3255667c6@baylibre.com/
<odalg> xdarklight: Thanks, I will try. Anything on the sdcard slowness? I see it on 5.5rc, but not on 5.4.

<xdarklight> odalg: I don't remember reading anything about slow SD card I/O
<xdarklight> odalg: for PCIe, I think you need to manually disable USB3 and enable PCIe in the .dts (or by using the u-boot fdt commands). see here for the related .dts changes: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/arch/arm64/boot/dts/amlogic/meson-g12b-a311d-khadas-vim3.dts
<odalg> Fedora uses grub for booting, is it possible to put fdt commands in there in some way?
<narmstrong> odalg: you also need to change the MCU settings to route the differential signals to the pcie connector, it’s documented on khadas website
<narmstrong> odalg: here are some uboot fdt scripts by khadas https://github.com/khadas/fenix/blob/master/config/bootscripts/aml_boot.ini#L156
<narmstrong> https://docs.khadas.com/vim3/KbiGuidance.html for the pcie switching
