naobsd: you just need to get that on the framebuffer during boot now :)
<AstralixNB>
wow, BGA design :)
<rperier>
naobsd: nice ! perhaps you could add tux behind the "R". I mean, most of the things done by the community are related to linux (directly or indirectly with android)
<rperier>
keep the "R"
<rperier>
what do you think?
<rperier>
(and the website is called "linux-rockchip" :p)
<AstralixNB>
Cool... a BGA Tux
<karlp>
did you see the bsd in naobsd's name ;)
<rperier>
ahah :)
<naobsd>
"linux-rockchip is an open source developers' community for Rockchip SoC based devices."
<naobsd>
not (only) for linux ;)
<rperier>
or a SoC with a R and without tux
<naobsd>
my design skill is very limited
<naobsd>
only square, circle, triangle
<rperier>
like me :(
<naobsd>
USB-SATA on Rayeager PX2 is not recognized :(

has someone attached an digital or LVDS LCD to the radxa rock?
<Astralix1>
Not a HDMI Screen, but a simple LCD via the FFC connector J10 at the bottom or the J12 at the top side?
<mrcan_>
im making update.img by using rockchip-pack-tools. when my rootfs is 1024x1M, i can create update.img succesfully. But when i change my rootfs size to 2048x1M, mkupdate cant create working update.img
<mrcan_>
do you have any idea why this happen? what is top limit of rootfs? can i change it?

rperier, I bootet the linux-next yesterday but it produced two dumps before landing on initramfs command line
<Astralix1>
it probably failed around gpio. I posted a link to a pastebin
<rperier>
Astralix1: leds-gpio is fixed
<Astralix1>
so i can fetch/pull and try again?
<rperier>
unable to boot rootfs from nfs with my RR :/ (with next-20141128 it works like a charm)
<Astralix1>
will try as soon as I have recovered my tablet

Ok... seems to be some more work... Even I installed a special Loader that fresh formats NAND and then waits for a true Loader to be installed, cannot recover this situation...
<Astralix1>
Regardless of what images I flash to this device, the loader answers only
<Astralix1>
No.1 FLASH ID:ad de 94 eb 74 44

No.3 FLASH ID:ad de 94 eb 74 44

Astralix1: can you share your special loader? here is completely bricked RK3066 dongle, all blocks were marked "BAD" and RK loader refuse to boot at very early
<Astralix1>
I'll ask permission
<naobsd>
I cannot erase NAND because RK loader seems to refuse to using "BAD" NAND :(
<naobsd>
I want to do is hard format, not soft format
<naobsd>
probably there are some real BAD blocks, but I want to erase BBT that I added by miss-operation :(
<naobsd>
I can go mask rom mode but I cannot flash loader because all IDB is bad
<naobsd>
so I want special loader which can be used as "usbplug"
<naobsd>
which ignores BBT and wipe all
<Astralix1>
Mail is out, will probably have an answer in a few hours.
<Astralix1>
However, I am not able to recover my device even I have used that loader
<Astralix1>
I put back the original manufacturer image with the old original Loader and I am still stuck in "CRC Error"
<naobsd>
1 of 4 your device?
<naobsd>
I guess flashing was incomplete
<naobsd>
but no idea why
<naobsd>
