rperier: it may simply run with different parameters ... i.e. debug_ll in the kernel just reuses the uart how the bootloader did set it up

I use the kernel shipped with ubuntu 14.04 from the radxa website, for radxa rock pro... I just use the 3 pins for serial console debugging like on the radxa rock...
