<stdint> diego71, the mmc problem is fixed now
<stdint> mmc: dw_mmc: update clock after ctrl reset in runtime resume would solve this problem

<fischerm> is sound supposed to work with 4.9 mainline on veyron-jerry?
<fischerm> gm / evening ... whatever tz you guys are in that is :)
<fischerm> I can't get it working neither with headphone nor speaker

<Guest13597> Trying to upgrade bootloader to miniall from http://androtab.info/rockchip/u-boot/ on 3066 device. Is it ok to get "Wait For Maskrom Fail" error?
<Guest13597> 1.* bootloaders from https://github.com/neo-technologies/rockchip-bootloader work fine
<Guest13597> with 2.* got the same error
<phh> you can't upgrade from 1.x to 2.x, you must fully format it
<phh> iirc the procedure should be something like boot off maskrom, do lower-level format, flash new bootloader
<mmind00> fischerm: in general yes, but there are some caveats I haven't worked out yet
<mmind00> fischerm: for one you need a quite recent alsa, which contains the veyron-i2s ucm profile
<mmind00> fischerm: then you'll need something like
<mmind00> alsaucm -c VEYRON-I2S set _verb HiFi
<mmind00> amixer set Speaker 50%
<mmind00> aplay music.wav
dlezcano has joined #linux-rockchip
<mmind00> fischerm: and try to stay away from alsamixer, where you could enable potentially unsafe settings
<mmind00> fischerm: and for the life of me, so far I wasn't able to to do any of that as non-root user (being in the audio group somehow didn't help)
<fischerm> mmind00: ok, will try when I get back home, thanks
<Guest13597> phh: I thought that bootloader is stored inside soc's bootrom. But lower-level formatting affects nand.
<phh> Guest13597: yup
<Guest13597> from androtab.info: http://pastebin.com/JswbPkBt
<phh> Guest13597: I must admit I'm not too sure why it fails at "Wait for Maskrom fail", though it's something along the lines of "to reset to maskrom, it needs to first load the 2.x bootloader on top of 1.x bootloader, and 2.x won't start on a 1.x-formated nand"
<phh> Guest13597: FIY the difference is 1.x and 2.x is exactly that: low-level formatting of nand

<Guest13597> my mistake was trying to "ul" in maskrom mode
<Guest13597> maskrom mode -> "ef" -> ignore "Wait for Maskrom fail" error -> "ul" (in loader mode)
<Guest13597> and lower-level format first, yes
<Guest13597> or no
