<asmir>
does someone know what code is executed during livesute flash - seems like boot{0,1} and can I edit that part of code?

vickycq: that superpi page is looking good
<libv>
that uart backpower issue is pretty common on allwinner designs
<libv>
and that device definitely needed a separate page :)

vickycq: I looked through the fex diff. Most differences due to different display settings and stuff like that.

In case you're able to run iperf tests between the 'Super Pi' and another GbE capable machine it would be worth a try to test through all available 8 TX delay settings

<vickycq>
...and I feel a bit nervous about submitting 'copied' Bananapi stuff to sunxi-boards, mainline U-Boot and mainline kernel.
<vickycq>
tkaiser: ...so I assume Bananapi.fex actually suit this board better with most known fixes for A20 already applied? e.g. slightly raised LV_voltages in dvfs table.
<vickycq>
...as soon as I have a Gbit router around. Currently all my three routers are 10/100M. :-(
<libv>
vickycq: at least sunxi-boards should be fine
<MoeIcenowy>
libv: Currently no support of ddrfreq in mainline?

vickycq: I would also rely on Banana Pi's fex and adjust the few pin mappings that are different.
<tkaiser>
Regarding the Armbian thread. I was curious whether we can also play with RX delay but came to no conclusion since I still don't know whether my 'fixes' worked at all.
<tkaiser>
So I would just give the TX delay settings a try. If you use Armbian's new build system, it's pretty easy since you can apply 'user patches' on your own to get 8 different u-boot settings

vickycq: i would instead include the foxconn provided fex file in sunxi-boards
<libv>
and then, perhaps, add a patch to fix it

so that we preserve history
<vickycq>
libv: Thanks for the advice! That also sounds like a better approach to me :-)

nove: i just want to let you know, that mosterta successfully did manage to make kodi with libvdpau-sunxi and opengles. With zerocopy via ump. No blobs. Except mali for sure.
<rellla>
In case you missed it.
<rellla>
He is the first one, that tried it with cedrus code. I appreciate this.

yes, mosterta did a good job

I think we should do some parallel development.
<rellla>
Improving libvdpau-sunxi on sunxi-3.4 while taking the mainlining tasks.
<rellla>
At least to get rid of the blobs and aw socalled open source code.
<rellla>
Especially within kodi.
