So, my 'insight' was that vertex_buffers are already resources, and are -- afaict -- already GPU-mapped

So there's zero need to keep reuploading

In practice, this is causing issues and I can't understand why for the life of me

The first vertex buffer? Works great.

Second and greater? Returns back all zeroes. (Sample symptom: black kmscube)
