in case people are interested, I scanned my Penti model (actually, took about 30 photos at various angles, then ran it through some photogrammetry tools) and positioned where I Think the keys would be, then printed it off 50% to take a look at how it would end up.

the reason there's a split half way up is, I believe, as I printed it as a sealed thing, and had very little infill and thin walls (this was just a test print after all, no point in wasting time and plastic) so when the heating turned off after printing, the temperature difference caused it to split

I also printed out a test keyswitch insert, to make sure I had the dimensions right, and it is _very_ satisfying

it's highlighted some issues (not enough throw for the actual key being the main one) so I can easily change that one bit, and it'll update the model :)

I think I'm actually pretty close to printing the final thing so I can wire it up :D

I know someone who was interested in a left handed one, so I can easily flip it, and print it out for them. Although I may see if I can get dimensions of their hand so I can scale it to fit them properly before I do so
