I have show-trailing-whitespace enabled by default for buffers derived from prog-mode and generally that's great.

But for instance some Racket source code edited in Dr Racket tends to have a fair amount of whitespace, so I often want to toggle it off for those buffers.

I'm using NixOS and getting Permission errors when i try to clone drracket. anybody else here on NixOS and contribute to racket? Thanks in advice :)

does anyone know why #; does not highlight the commented out s-expr in drracket? Is it frowned upon to comment out s-exprs?

countvajhula: no other processes. I think the error comes due to all packages are readonly in NixOS.

bremner: thanks for the hint. I've installed racket-minimal and installing drrackt with --scope user at the moment. This should fix it. There must be a more idiomatic way to do that, but step by step :)
