<
dkubb>
mbj: I've been thinking maybe we should only specify the major and minor in our gem dependencies
<
dkubb>
so ~> 1.2 instead of ~> 1.2.3
<
dkubb>
then bundle update will safely increase the minor up to the latest
<
lgierth>
dkubb: you need to update the respective gem explicitly then
<
lgierth>
bundle update on its own doesn't guarantee that you get the latest versions of all gems
<
lgierth>
just something to keep in mind
<
mbj>
dkubb: I'll happily do so for our 1.x gems.
<
mbj>
dkubb: Some of my stuff is still 0.x so semversioning the first component would result in Chromium version numbers :D
<
dkubb>
lgierth: right, if another dependency holds it back then it won't get upgraded
