<mnutt> is there a general consensus on minimum browser supported in sandstorm apps?

<mnutt> wondering if I can drop support for IE11 (and remove a bunch of code bloat around mangling async/await)

<isd> I don't know of any explicit consensus.
<JacobWeisz[m]> Microsoft considers IE to be a compatibility layer at this point. It would be good to know if/how well Sandstorm itself runs on IE... if it doesn't work, why should apps worry about it? But I don't know.

<isd> Yeah, I've never tried it.

<mnutt> that was my thinking too, if sandstorm/other apps don't support it, probably fine to drop support
<JacobWeisz[m]> We should develop a community opinion on it so people don't have to check.
<JacobWeisz[m]> I also suspect Etherpad and Wekan have dropped support already. (Though our Etherpad package is super old.)
<JacobWeisz[m]> If our popular/core apps don't really support it, we shouldn't bother.
