<tnt> azonenberg: not sure what you mean by 3 inputs ?
<tnt> also, support for both quad mode and qpi would be useful.

<azonenberg> tnt: the 25xxx flash decode will have 2 required and one optional inputs
<azonenberg> input #1 is SPI decode on SCK, CS#, SI
<azonenberg> #2 is SPI decode on SCK, CS#, SO
<azonenberg> #3 is either null if the chip isn't hooked up in quad mode, or quad decode on SCK, CS#, DQ[3:0]
<azonenberg> 4-4-4 mode will not be supported initially
<azonenberg> only 1-x-x
<azonenberg> But once i add 4-4-4 mode you'll be able to have inputs 1/2 be null and only connect 3

<_whitenotifier-f> [scopehal] azonenberg pushed 1 commit to master [+2/-0/±3] https://git.io/JUYaN
<_whitenotifier-f> [scopehal] azonenberg e462a35 - Initial implementation of SPI flash decoder. Only understands read transactions for now, no write support. Only tested with Winbond W25N and needs to be made more general. Fixes #36.
<_whitenotifier-f> [scopehal] azonenberg closed issue #36: Add 25* series SPI flash protocol decoder - https://git.io/JUYaA
<_whitenotifier-f> [scopehal-apps] azonenberg pushed 1 commit to master [+0/-0/±2] https://git.io/JUYah
<_whitenotifier-f> [scopehal-apps] azonenberg d16b733 - WaveformArea: refresh filters immediately if configuration is changed rather than waiting for next trigger
<azonenberg> very much a WIP and i'll be updating it over the next day or two. I'm sniffing a W25N flash on a board for work right now so that's what the initial decode will support, I have some other flashes i can do testing with later on
<azonenberg> I know for a fact there are some incompatibility
<azonenberg> but fixing that properly will require i add enum arguments to filters so you can create a dropdown to specify which flash family you're targeting and maybe some other parameters
<azonenberg> Which is scopehal:#128

<tnt> Did someone write a driver for those cheap fx2 based LA ?
<azonenberg> tnt: not to my knowledge. But i'd love a patch
<azonenberg> I want a saleae backend too
<azonenberg> Since we use those at work all the time but i really want to use glscopeclient instead of the saleae software
<azonenberg> I've just been too busy working on decodes and the scopehal core to touch driver stuff
<azonenberg> other than lecroy since i use that all the time

<azonenberg> So i spoke to katharina last night. She's gradually getting back into the swing of things but focusing on building up energy to get back to work and is not gonna have time to contribute to the project for a while
<azonenberg> Is anybody else interested in picking up some of her UI work?
<azonenberg> I really want to get the preferences system working in the not too distant future
<azonenberg> i'm not sure how close to complete she got it
<azonenberg> degi electronic_eel tnt any interest/availability?
