<eva> @xcn :wave: hello! I don’t believe we have an up to date public roadmap right now (though it’s definitely on our minds). Do you have any questions about project direction that we could answer? Or about specific features?
<stellar-slack>
<xcn> Simply any words about progress and milestones? Ouside of your tiny slack it seems like Stellar is not alive.
<stellar-slack>
<eva> @xcn We’re hoping to increase transparency in http://Stellar.org|Stellar.org’s goals and progress, so glad you asked :) Have you read the “stellar news” blog posts? We try to update here with progress (including tech developments) https://www.stellar.org/blog/category/stellar-news/ In a broader sense, we’re working to make it as easy as possible for developers everywhere to build on the Stellar networ

(horizon, stellar core) and tools (like the Laboratory). Hope that helps clarify direction a bit (and if it doesn’t, please feel free to ask more questions).

<xcn> Thanks, and what about gui wallet?

<eva> I’ll also say that a lot of activity in the Stellar ecosystem isn’t going to show up on the typical channels (Slack, Reddit, forums, Twitter…) because it’s happening in places that don’t frequent these same online spaces. For example, you won’t see any of the 300k people in rural Nigeria who’re connected to the network in Slack - because for the most part they won’t know they’re using Stellar.

<eva> @xcn: http://Stellar.org|Stellar.org actually explicitly does not plan on developing a more developed wallet than the account viewer (which has basic functionality like sending/recieving lumens). Instead, we’ll continue to improve open-source developer tools so that participants in the ecosystem can build a variety of new services. This is to ensure we stay focused on our core mission and encourage community o

be working, too :) Have you checked out third party wallets like Lobstr and Centaurus?
<stellar-slack>
<xcn> it seems like you're dev-oriented, rather than client-oriented
<stellar-slack>
<xcn> oh
<stellar-slack>
<eva> We wanted to make sure that other devs had a chance to jump in take ownership - so that http://Stellar.org|Stellar.org’s projects don’t become the default. Currently, we’ve pretty focused on developers because right now the Stellar network is just at a protocol level. Meaning, most people who aren’t devs can’t interact with just a protocol. They will need wallets, apps, etc. So right now it makes sense

own projects for a bunch of different communities. Hopefully this makes sense!
<stellar-slack>
<xcn> could you point me some places where i can find 3rd party software except Lobstr and Centaurus? any community?
<stellar-slack>
<eva> @xcn Here’s a map of projects and communities around the world - not a complete listing, but it’ll give you a good sampling :) https://www.stellar.org/community/map/
