<s_frit> hi everyone, aside from ##fpga and here, is there a better channel for discussing NightFury/LiteFury/CLE-215 development?

<daveshah> pepijndevos: I'm pretty sure the 'stime' issue is because Gowin don't have this commit yet
<daveshah> the ftd2xx python library tries to bind it for some reason, expecting the ftd2xx library to provide it via its dependency on libc, but libc has removed it

<pepijndevos> daveshah, ohhhh, so it's actually a bug in the python binding? ugh...
<pepijndevos> I mean... it should be possible to extract the programmer and update it, but my limited attempts at unpacking have been unsuccesful so far.
<daveshah> Looks like some automatic binding generator included all the functions from time.h once
<pepijndevos> I tried some common Python bundle extractors and that's about it...

<omnitechnomancer> I suppose the python binding is requesting the stime symbol specifically from the ftd2xx library and that is why it doesn't work with LD_PRELOAD?
