Is it possible to create a BIP 84/49/44 watch only wallet in Bitcoin Core using the xpub of a wallet?

Fantastic! If I import private keys into that wallet, will the coins then become spendable? My idea is a hot/cold wallet combination where incoming transactions go to the cold wallet (offline) and I move coins to the hot wallet as needed by importing private keys to unspent outputs. Possible problem: The cold wallet won't know how to create change outputs belonging to the same wallet.

you can construct a descriptor for the change as well
