<whitequark> they have to be explicitly tristated or they mess up e.g. pins-int test
<whitequark> also those two lines have different capacitance from all others
<marcan> whitequark: why would #1 be an issue? that's just software
<marcan> as for #2, we'd need to quantify how much of a difference it makes
<marcan> I mean it's either this or losing a bunch of PLL functionality
