<Hellsenberg> um, having issues with the spi-flash-25c and a N25Q128A chip
<Hellsenberg> it works with a macronix
<whitequark> Hellsenberg: it would help if you described the issues.
<Hellsenberg> whitequark: true. issue is the identify command returns either zeros or ones
<whitequark> how is the chip connected?
<Hellsenberg> --pin-sck 0 --pin-mosi 1 --pin-miso 2 --pin-ss 3 (on bank A)
<Hellsenberg> pins 3,7,8 to pin2 on bank A (voltage out)
<Hellsenberg> pin 4 to GND
<Hellsenberg> and the macronix only printed its ID once
<tnt> Hellsenberg: are you sure the target board doensn't have pull-ups on any of the lines ?
<Hellsenberg> tnt: the protoboard does not have pull-ups on it
<Hellsenberg> and I know this should work because a FT2232H with the same setup works fine
<tnt> well the pull-up thing is a FXMA shittiness specific thing, a ftdi would work fine.
<Hellsenberg> hm
<Hellsenberg> anyway there's none
<Hellsenberg> and the reads are somewhat inconsistent at times. hmm
<Hellsenberg> there we go, looks like this setup is much more sensitive than the ft2232h
<Hellsenberg> verified OK :)
