otavio: tried the pushed changes for vivante drivers with linaro 12.04, they sort of work ... glxgears is working :). Main issue is the screen has a blue tint :(.

hste: Only unity 2D/xfce4 works because of compiz issues and also need to get totem working against. So should be possible.

hste: have to see if the totem stuff works . Learnt alot about the vivante drivers and xorg stuff, so should be possible to try on other distro's.
