hste: another 1.5 hours to upload xubuntu, I tried lzma took almost 30 mins to compress so no better than gzip as total time is the same.

jas-hacks: lzma normally takes a bit longer to compress, but it should compress better

hste: rootfs is 700mb instead of 1GB for gz, but lmza took 30 mins to compress.

hp__: I have the same problem. But you can try another resolution and set it in boot.scr on jas-hacks next uboot. I have the same on that resolution but when I sat 1080 resolution it scales ok

hp__, when on tested on my TV I had a similar issue, my TV had a option to configure the hdmi input type I could set it to 'native' which worked for me.
