pauljw has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<diederik>
"pactl list short sinks" is supposed to show that, but I only see "auto_null"
<diederik>
on another device (my main PC), I do see the tunnel device and can select it and play audio through it, so the audio target seems to be setup correctly
<diederik>
what am I missing or doing wrong?
<diederik>
Both kodi and PA run on a (separate) Rock64 and LE is version 10 (nightly-20210511)
Gittun has quit [Quit: UPP]
psymin has quit [Quit: Leaving]
Tobbi has quit [Quit: My MacBook has gone to sleep. ZZZzzz…]
<lrusak>
Sending audio and receiving audio are two different things
<lrusak>
If you want to send audio make sure to follow the relevant section
<diederik>
I'm following the 'Network Sending' part and IIUC LE is the source=sender and my other device is the target=receiver
<lrusak>
And are you using zeroconf or setting the tunnel up manually?
<lrusak>
And to be clear, you only want to send audio to the remote device, you don't want it to play locally at all?
<diederik>
zeroconf. "load-module module-zeroconf-publish" is part of system.pa on target/receiver
<diederik>
correct
<lrusak>
Did you load the tcp module also on the remote device?
<diederik>
yes
<lrusak>
Did you allow anonymous author ?
<diederik>
what I'm supposed to see on the LE device, I do see that on my PC (part of same LAN)
<diederik>
yep
<lrusak>
And you loaded the zerconf discover on the local device?
