<mmind00> naobsd: you're colliding with rperier on this ... also I'm not sure about assigning any default triggers at all ... and the led called sleep is also named "sleep" in the schematics

<naobsd> if name of dt node should be name of pin, state1/state2/sleep will be good
<naobsd> but there is no print on board, only led color is visible for user. I think "label" should have name of color.
<naobsd> about default state, I recommend to use same state/trigger with stock 3.0 kernel for RR because
<naobsd> many RR user (developer?) don't use serial console, they just say "it doesn't boot" even if it's just a ip problem ;)
<naobsd> (I have to update my old local tree... at fr)

<Tony_> We change new one eMMC of Sansung.
<Tony_> the problem is that we can flash images into the new eMMC chip successfully.
<Tony_> finally, the problem was the version of Bootloader. I replace the old one with new one(1.28). everything was okay.
<Tony_> It is confused us for three days. And I shared it. :P hope helpful to you.
<Tony_> *samsung
<Tony_> *the problem is that we can't flash images into the new eMMC chip successfully.
<naobsd> you shared latest loader/rknand.ko :)
<Tony_> ?
<Tony_> I mean I shared the information. Didn't you have loader version 1.28 ?
<Tony_> Actually, We all used the 1.24 before. RK gave us the 1.28.

<Tony_> We were afraid of replacing 1.28 with 1.24 before. because there were so many bug when we replaced the 1.20 with 1.24. we were scared.

<naobsd> what I said is linux-nand-driver_Patch_V2.6 you shared
<naobsd> awesome, I could kill NAND (logically, probably), here is completly bricked rk3066 stick!
<naobsd> it could boot to mask rom mode, but I cannot flash anything to NAND
<naobsd> BBT: 0x0:ffffffff 3ffff 0 0

<rrpro> hi, whats the matter with rr pro serial and pl2303 converters?
<rrpro> using pi serial to rr pro connection now but login fails with
<rrpro> getty: ttyFIQ0: can't execute '/bin/login'
<rrpro> btw, RTL8723AU: isn't working either
<rrpro> sounds like rr pro is more of a construction site than anticipated
<rrpro> ip setup won't work. tried then setting ip via kernel cmdline but this completely knocks rr pro off tracks. from then on either dhcp mode and kernel cmdline fail to setup eth0
<rrpro> dhcp only _is_ working. static ip is preferred but helas, not working

<rperier> naobsd: what I've done yesterday evening is that I added label to these subnode because it is no longer an optional propertie and causes backtrace while booting because the driver tries to create (null) sysfs entries. I have also renamed The subnode yellow to blue according to the last schematic. You could do the rest about default-state and default trigger, what do you think ?
<rperier> also note that the label property is the name of the files created under /sys/class/leds

<rrpro> using the rr pro debian image it is impossible to login on the serial console
<rrpro> is the image defective?
<rrpro> anyhow
<rrpro> I intend to fix that (serial bail out and interface not setup). where should the patches go?

<gb_master> anybody tried to use an ethernet-to-usb adapter with RR?
<gb_master> I was thinking of buying an ax88179, but I'm afraid of http://talk.radxa.com/topic/463/issues-using-usb-ethernet-adapter-ax88179
<gb_master> well, unless the issue is fixed on mainline, as it seems it's just related to the radxa sources

<karlp> there was a general linux-usb issue with one of the ax chips recently, but I thought it was just a usb3 one,
<karlp> I haven't personally tried one of the cheaper ax chipset dongles I have on a radxa rock, but it workd just fine on a rk3066 dongle with 3.0+ crap
