aI used yaffs, ubifs on nand before. I installed ubuntu 14 on rk3066. It used ext4 on nand. I wonder It's reliable using ext4 on nand than ubifs or yaffs2. I don't anything about rk30xxnand-3.0.36+.ko. If it's good to use ext4 on nand, I think rk30xxnand-3.0.36+.ko driver do sothing for reliability. Am i right?

first of all, it appears u-boot delivered in zip expects both "boot" and "kernel" to exist in parameter file. I tried not to declare one of them and u-boot won't start, ending in error and trying to start from "recover" partition.

naobsd: on the rk3288 the lvds controller also hogs the rgb output pins, so you need to configure it to get output to for example the vga connector

PaowZ___: for now I'm not sure u-boot expects both kernel and boot in parameter. you can flash kernel+ramdisk boot.img into boot, then it should boot regardless of kernel partition condition

naobsd: yes it is [lcdc outputs rgb data] ... and on the older socs this is also ermitted directly on the pins, but on the rk3288 they have the new lvds controller inside the soc

I will probably put its status as "inactive" on layers.openembedded.org, and I thought that it would be nice to be hosted under linux-rockchip (linux-rockchip/meta-rockchip for example), I don't want to see the project attached to its company while I am the main contributor and maintainer
