<rperier> except the clk tree... I don't think that it is so hard to add support for rk3188 to uboot mainline... we already have serial_rockchip, dwmmc... I am talking the second level bootloader here, the spl part... won't be trivial ^^
<rperier> I try to inform myself about that, because seriously... that's too hard to work without a normal bootloader.... on my radxa rock or my marsboard... just a working sdcard from uboot would be awesome because you might at least download your kernel from a running linux, write it to sdcard and reboot...
<rperier> that's the technic I used while debugging ethernet support in uboot on my rock2, and it just did the trick :)

<mmind00> rperier: the basic problem is the spl-part not starting ... I do believe I have the pinctrl, clocks etc for the main part done (in my uboot-repo) ... just haven't figured out why the spl doesn't start at all [the absence of debug output makes this more difficult of course]

<vcutech> Hello, Using Rk3288 board to playback HEVC content using ExoPlayer some of the videos don't work and the Google Developers of the Android player suggested I report the issue to the device manufacturer, can anyone here suggest what would be the best way to do it ?
<vcutech> the issue details can be viewed here https://github.com/google/ExoPlayer/issues/1099
<vcutech> The issue it seems is the lack of using Google's HEVC Software decoder which is causing failure.
