ayaka: morning. Do you know if MPP is supposed to support interlaced videos ?
stdint has joined #linux-rockchip
<LongChair>
or stdint maybe :)
<stdint>
LongChair, it has supported interlace video
<LongChair>
Ok, i tried an H264 1080i video, but it plays in a very stuttering way
<stdint>
but the h264 requests a patch for it
<LongChair>
ah
<LongChair>
is that patch going to land in MPP anytime soon ?
<stdint>
it has, but not at the public repo
<LongChair>
ok

i also had another question. it seems mpp_frame_get_mode should allow to retrieve some interlacing information. is that supposed to be implemented. because on the video I played, that function returned 0 and I Would have expected it to return something different from 0 ?
