hi, I have been looking for info whether openOCD can be used to debug cubieboard2. is it possible?
<isa14210>
so far, http://www.cubieforums.com/index.php?topic=2803.0 this is the clue I have got. it seems possible to connect jtag to the chip, however, if there's no openocd cfg, I dunno if it's possible. Anyone has tried before?
<TheLinuxBug>
someone with knowledge of how to solderer
<TheLinuxBug>
coudl likely fix it for you
<TheLinuxBug>
you may need a new part for it though
<TheLinuxBug>
which they should be cheap to find
<TheLinuxBug>
probably 10-20 cents
<RzR>
the usb plug I assume ?
<TheLinuxBug>
although some of the leads do look worse for wear
<TheLinuxBug>
yeah
<RzR>
but some of the tracks went off
<TheLinuxBug>
if you take it to someone that works on PCBs they should be able to fix it
<TheLinuxBug>
I would think
<TheLinuxBug>
or at least tell you for sure
<TheLinuxBug>
would have to inspect it closer to really tell you

<TheLinuxBug>
looks like you shorted it maybe?
<TheLinuxBug>
how did you manage to break it like that
<RzR>
no idea I showed it on a booth a whole day
<RzR>
and I guess someone pulled the usb3 cable
<TheLinuxBug>
I mean it looks like either it shorted and frelted those leads or maybe someone had it in their hand and push down real hard on the connector which pulled the leads almost off the bored

<swiftgeek>
is there some nice resource on device trees?
<swiftgeek>
i was looking at http://git.denx.de/?p=u-boot/u-boot-sunxi.git;a=blob;f=arch/arm/dts/sun5i-a13-olinuxino.dts;h=b3c234c65ea19bb1f69984f350db0dad7ceea440;hb=HEAD
<swiftgeek>
and i'm kinda confused about all those & (are they all aliases?) and stuff like <&pio 6 0 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>
