Okay, I see what you're talking about. Using mono for banks of speakers requires some attention to detail or you'll get a hot spot where the wafeforms reinforce and cold spots where they interfere.
RichardG867 has joined #linux-sunxi
<willmore>
And, yeah, it can be 3db louder where they reinforce. Sadly, it can also be very quiet where they don't. But real speakers aren't anywhere near ideal, so it never gets that bad.

Net147: i see you have rebased your sun7i drm branch on wens's stuff; but i also see a lot of [DO NOT MERGE] what is the status of your patches regarding to sun7i? And i see your working on fixes with regards to video clocking?
<oliv3r>
Net147: can you elaborate a little on that?
<oliv3r>
and i thought pleas's ccu patches where merged, but they are not in 4.14-rc3/your tree (or i overlooked them which is quite possible)
<Net147>
oliv3r: the CCU patches are already in there. my branch is based on wen's a31-hdmi-v4 branch.
<Net147>
oliv3r: do not merge means I don't intend for the commit to be included into mainline

and they should be sent at some point too

Any one know is there to force FEL boot on V3s chip (except shorting to ground SPI/SDIO data pins)? may be LRADC some level or ??
<KotCzarny>
does it have sdcard slot?

if yes, then fel-sdio image

fel-sdcard i mean

not sdio but sdcard

no any of them, boot from SPI ...
<KotCzarny>
then flash fel image onto spi?
<KotCzarny>
you can later replace it by proper uboot

KotCzarny: thanks, good idea, will check do u-boot SPL have option to enter FEL ...
<KotCzarny>
or just nuke spi, and it probably would fallback to fel mode anyway

KotCzarny: currently do that, nuke spi :) looking for corect way.
<KotCzarny>
it is, because end result is the same

unless you plan to do some complicated select-boot-os configuration

<oliv3r>
i'll pick those few patches up then
<oliv3r>
it's still confusing :D
<wens>
sunxi patches that we take will be in the kernel.org sunxi repository
<wens>
the linux-sunxi github repository is not the official one
<wens>
sunxi-next only serves as a integration branch, much like linux-next without all the irrelevant stuff
<wens>
all branches in kernel.org/sunxi are based on -rc1
<wens>
so it's easy to spot if something is already in linus' tree or just merged for the next release
