just ordered a bunch of things from the "love you forever" vacuum shop
<cr1901_modern>
I sadly have no space (or the appropriate skills for that matter) to make a vacuum chamber like you guys are doing...
<sb0>
cr1901_modern, depending on what you are doing, it may not take that much space

in the anglosphere, the main difficulty is procuring components. they are expensive, and customs like to help themselves with your money (and time)
<sb0>
and many vendors don't answer you, too
<sb0>
china has a cheap and readily available supply of all sort of things, and the mainland/hk customs haven't given me any crap so far. it's like putting the difficulty setting on 'easy'...
<sb0>
the only small hurdle is RMB transfers and non-English speaking vendors, but agents are very helpful with that (and are much cheaper and friendlier than EU customs)
<cr1901_modern>
So the moral is to move to hk for less hassle :P. Sounds like a good idea lately.
