samth: hehe, that's right, I do. And while updating the code for tracking the last bug, I cleaned up many things and suddenly CS became almost twice as fast as 3m.

I'm toying with the idea of trying to implement kakoune's interaction model (double cursors where a single cursor is a specialisation where both cursors have the same position, modal mode, object-verb command structure, good support for passing stuff back and forth between editor and external tools)
