But since it wasn't there I gave up and searched for it. And turns out that to find it on the docs home page, it's not under the racket language or core libraries (even though it comes with core), but instead you have to scroll quite far down to syntax

20:05 <jfred> Tor *should* be writing something to the socket after I send it an AUTHENTICATE command, and it's a line-based protocol, so I thought I should be able to read a line from the response with `read-line` but... I think I'm missing something

20:14 <jfred> I realized that `writeln` didn't escape those quotes like they thought it would, but just tried again with `displayln` instead (which is probably what I actually want here) and got the same thing
