16:21 <jfred> winny: Aha - you were indeed right that it was an unflushed output port buffer. That marks the second time buffering has tripped me up, haha. I was confused because I remembered newlines flushing an output port, but... of course that only applies if the buffer is in line mode

However I'm struggling with centering the bitmap when scaling it using a canvas' DC, to simulate zooming. What would be some solutions or alternative to this? Right now my code is a mess from experimenting with the `pasteboard%` class and then realized it wasn't what I was looking for.
