<azonenberg> sorear: one of many reasons i like the idea of a fiber attached scope lol. Although my specific units will be living on a (grounded) rack most of their life
<azonenberg> so you dont get the benefits of isolation
<sorear> float the rack? :p
<azonenberg> Lol

<pepijndevos> Hrm, does not seem like futhark supports compute shaders, ony cuda and opencl.
<pepijndevos> I imagine it's indeed easier to share data between OpenGL and compute shaders
<pepijndevos> Too bad, because Futhark is quite neat and can be faster than *practical* hand-rolled OpenCL because it does automatic flattening and work splitting.

<_whitenotifier-b> [starshipraider] azonenberg 52354b0 - Hooked up all remaining input signals on the front/back layers. Not length/skew matched yet. Still have to do inner layer stuff.
<azonenberg> https://www.antikernel.net/temp/maxwell-71.png well this is progress
<Degi> Futhark the language?
<Degi> *programming language*
<Degi> Oh nice cables
<azonenberg> Coming along nicely but i still have to tune the data lines from the left half of the board
<azonenberg> Then i have a few more control lines like the SPI bus from the big fpga to the stm32, i have to figure out where to squeeze the mac address eeprom in
<azonenberg> then some test points and the whole right side with the muxes for the high speed inputs
<pepijndevos> Degi, yea, I used it for a video decoding project once and it's pretty neat. Like OCaml for the GPU.
