hmm, cleaning up most of the DOFs got rid of 3 of 6 naked edges

hmmm .. model A is used by model B (as assembly). availability of points from A is affected by the occlusion setting when saving A. bug or feature ?
<wpwrak>
(availability) ... when editing B
<whitequark>
occlusion?!
<whitequark>
sounds like a bug!
<wpwrak>
i'm keeping you and evil-spirit on a high-protein diet. lots of juicy bugs ;-) filing report ...
<whitequark>
well at least your bugs are sensible
<whitequark>
I sometimes get really inane reports...
<wpwrak>
yeah, the line between a bug or a very confused user can be blurry, especially for that user ;-)
<wpwrak>
hmm. strange. now i can't reproduce the disappearance of points :( maybe it was a case of confused user after all ...

mmh, the solution for #193 isn't all the nice. i get a lot of unexpected group changes. and sometimes you don't really see much a difference on the display.
<whitequark>
it's not really a solution.
<wpwrak>
ok
<whitequark>
just a little something I did to test my theory as to why it happens

hmm, if two-sided extrusion would not require that both ends be at an equal distance from the center, then sketches could be anywhere on the extrusion axis. this means that also a sketch that was created with the wrong starting point wouldn't have to be trashed, even without fixing #103
<wpwrak>
lemme add this to #103 ...
<GitHub>
[solvespace] wpwrak commented on issue #103: The only reason I experienced so far for wanting to change the origin of a workplane was that I had picked a point at the wrong level for linear extruding. If two-sided extrusions would allow the user to place both end faces, not just one with the other inevitably being symmetrical to the workplane, extrusions would no longer have to begin at a workplane. Thus, the origin would be largely irrelevant....
